After we
had had the first capture of Greenish warbler at GFU three days ago today we
had, early morning, the second one. In contrast of three days ago, today we had
almost no wind and hot weather.
But that
isn’t all, the morning got more exiting when I could catch a grey Partridge. Evidently,
it did not fall in the mist nets of the garden, it fell in the Lark mist nets
that we have in the field opposite to the house. I saw it flying to the field and I had to do a
steeplechase to trap it. The last grey Partridge ringed here was eleven years
ago.
