Fire gange bedre end i går

Today the weather conditions  were perfect for ringing. However, and despite nothing amazing have happened, the day have produced almost the quadruple of the birds, compared to yesterday.
In the afternoon, me and Hans, have also went to prepare things for tomorrow try to recapture at least some of the rosenfinches with geologger placed last year.

Tornsanger Sylvia communis - 4 (2) - one of the retraps was a old bird ringed at 26 Aug. 2006

Gulbug Hippolais icterina - 2 (2)
Røsanger Acrocephalus scirpaceus- 1 (0)
Spaetmejse Sitta europaea - 1 (0)
Korttaet Traelober Certhia  brachydactyla- 1 (0) - first capture of the year (also a bird without the white edge on the bigger alula and that almost deceived me)
Bogfinke Fringilla coelebs - 2 (0)
Tornirisk Carduelis cannabina - 1 (2)
