Trio of Phylloscopus Warblers

With 76 birds ringed today it has been the day with more ringed birds since I am at Gedser. The main specie ringed today has been the willow warble with 26 captures and followed by the blackcap with 14 captures.

The best moment of the morning it has been when we captured a Wood Warble and Sussane could ring it for first time.

On the picture we can see the difference on size and plumage from the three commonest warblers (Phylloscopus) at Denmark.

From the front to the back the warblers are; Chiffchaff, Willow
Warbler and Wood Warbler
As well today we had records at Gedser Odde of Black kite, Common Buzzards, Rough-legged Buzzard, Merlin and White-tailed Eagle.
