It was clear from the onset that the weather wasn't favourable for standardised ringing with howling south westerlies and drizzle! We decided our time would be best utilised indoors sorting ringing data until the weather abated. With the end of the rain we left to go birding and spent 3.5 hours at the point watching visible migration

In the afternoon we worked around the garden and sorted out a new Sparrowhawk net with one or two Honey Buzzards cruising overhead!
