Well we arrived at Gedser Fuglestation to a very warm welcome indeed from the local birding community, especially from Rune and Gert who we can't thank enough for their help so far.
Todays ringing saw a total of 26 birds ringed Including;
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Wryneck
11 Robins
5 Common Redstart
1 Song Thrush
1 Blackcap
4 Chiffchaff
The hardest thing we have learnt from our very short time here is knowing where to look given the diversity and relative volumes of birds moving in and around the station.
Overhead migration whilst around the station included:
