For the last time we dropped the nets with Craig as he will be
setting off back to the UK tomorrow. There was nothing particularly
special to mark his last ringing day at Gedser but the flow of birds was
steady. Hans, Gert and Benny looked after a school party and there were
plenty of birds for them to be show the visitors.

First calendar year male Blackcap ( Munk - han)
This
is the fourth year that Craig has been to Gedser, ringing at the
fuglestation and recording migrational counts at the tip. He is
returning to his third year at university and we wish him all the best
with his studies and for the future. We hope to see him back at Gedser soon.
Craig with his Cormorant (Skarv) a first for Craig at Gedser.
