The wind was strong today and once again I was not able to put nets up this morning. However the sun was out for some of the day so hopefully that's a sign that we're getting closer to fine weather.

I spent most of the day getting stuck into (both figuratively and literally) a Blackberry thicket which needs to be removed to make room for new species. I got through most of it, but there's still a small patch left for another day. I know what I'll be doing this evening...removing splinters from my hands!
