Anders was not the only arrival and birds soon followed his lead with 202 birds caught and ringed in the Fuglestation nets throughout the day which included:

Yet another mind blowing day of bird migration was observed at Gedser with too many highlights to mention. However a stand alone moment for some of the GFU team was during the early afternoon when a very sizable flock of over 60+ Common Buzzards kettled up just north of the Lighthouse and headed off the tip and out to sea!
