The only birding was made through the rain splashed Fuglestation windows and trips to replenish the fire wood. Large numbers of Robins were doing their best to feed in the raging south easterly winds and rain and Crests were still very evident with flocks calling from deep inside the bushes.
Efforts were made to fix some Hare gnawed shelf strings up in the loft and all outstanding ringing/birding data entered into the computer. Hans arrived bearing brun kager (Danish brown cakes) to lift the spirits of a team suffering from cabin fever after only a day being cooped indoors!
